Ghana international Ernest Nuamah got his 2023/24 season off with a flying start as Nordsjaelland climb to the top of the Danish league table.
Nuamah was the star of the game as his side recorded a 4-1 win over Viborg FF on Monday evening.
Nordsjaelland were behind in the opening 10 minutes of the game at home with Mads Sondergaard putting the visitors ahead.
It was almost as if going behind awaken the Ghanaian who then went on a scoring spree to inspire his side to victory.
Nuamah connected well with Mohammed Diomande's pass across the face of the goal to get the equaliser for his side.
And when the game seemed to heading into the break with a draw, two Ghanaians combined to give Nordsjaelland the lead.
Ibrahim Osman played Nuamah through and the Black Stars forward made no mistake finishing off cooly as they went into the break with the lead.
The 19-year-old then completed his hat-trick on the evening with another brilliant finish with his left foot as he was fed by his strike partner Marcus Ingvartsen.
The hat-trick hero was then named the Man of the Match at the end of the game, getting his season off to a great start.
Nuamah scored 12 goals and provided four assists as Nordsjaelland missed out on the league title last season and will be looking to better his numbers this campaign.
