Ghanaian youngster Prince Amoako Junior guided FC Nordsjaelland to a hard fought win over Copenhagen on Saturday afternoon.
Amoako Junior scored the winning goal of the game as his side claimed a 2-1 away win in the Danish Superliga encounter.
Copenhagen took an early lead in the game, scoring after just six minutes through Mohammed Elyounoussi.
However, Nordsjaelland had other ideas having gone into the recess period with a deficit.
The away side earned a penalty in the 70th minute of the game which was converted by Ola Solbakken to draw Nordsjaelland level in the encounter.
Eight minutes after, Amoako Junior stole the show, bursting forward from his own half after a well-defended corner by the visitors before beating the Copenhagen goalkeeper with a low drive.
The Ghanaian’a strike gave Nordsjaelland the lead for the first time in the game as they went onto to hold on to the advantage and eventually won all three points available.
The goal was the 18-year-old’s sixth of the league season having scored five in the first half of the campaign.
Amoako Junior also has four assists to his name in the league this campaign.
