WAFA SC have appointed experience French trainer Patrick Liewig as head coach on a short-term deal.
Liewig will take charge of the Sogakope-based side until the end of the season.
The French trainer replaces Danish gaffer Klavs Rasmussen who resigned from the club after a topsy-turvy campaign in the Ghana Premier League.
A club statement reads: ''WAFA SC has appointed Patrick Liewig as the head of the First Team. The former Asec Mimosas coach has signed a contract until the end of the season.''
WAFA are fourth in Ghana Premier League with 18 points after 12 rounds.
The 67-year-old is not a novice to the Africa football, having managed Stade Tunisien, Club Africain and d'EGS Gafsa, MC Alger of Algeria, Simba SC and ASEC Mimosas.
Liewig won the Ivorian Ligue 1 title with ASEC Mimosas on three succession times between 2004 and 2006.
He also guided them to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League in 2006.
