The Ghana Football Association is set to embark on a comprehensive player monitoring exercise ahead of South Africa 2010.
The exercise will see coach Milovan Rajevac paying close attention not only to Ghanaian players but players of Ghana’s group opponents in the World Cup.
This was disclosed by the president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi at a press conference organised in Accra on Wednesday.
“Let me tell you for a fact, the teams in our group for the world cup, the coach has discussed with us he wants to monitor German players, Australia and Serbian players,” he said.
He intimated the FA will also engage the services of scouts who will assist the coach in monitoring teams and the players.
The FA had prior to the Germany 2006 world Cup employed the services of some local coaches including Coach Arday, and Attuquayefio.
It is not too clear which coaches will appointed this time.
