Men don’t like to be forced to do things, especially those things they aren’t used to or do not understand. At least this is what I think as a woman with balls (nearly one of them). Women on the other hand love to tell everybody what to do, how to do it, when to do it and even why to do it.
Over the years I've learnt from my mum how she got my dad to put on what she chose, for where and when. You know it. Whisper-We call it psycho(s-i-g-h-c-o-r)! Oh but don’t get it twisted they(men) know.
I don’t believe in the a man has to look fierce especially when civilization came to us a long time ago. My man has to look good. He has to dress the part. Wondering if a man has to do that to catch my eye? Hahaha! Not exactly.

You don’t need much money to look good and feel good although you must be willing to well, do some investment. Neither would labels cut it.
Creativity! That's hey. So what should you have in your wardrobe? There are always the basics and sure you can have whatever in your wardrobe but some things are essential. Why? What do you wear for that not so formal cocktail, dinner, interview, golf game? Bla blabla! Especially when they’re impromptu or when you don’t have enough cash for a quick shopping.
Men are often judged by their shoes. His shoes tell a lot about him, the kind of person (clean or dirty), his income range, his background etc. a pair of black or brown dress shoes will do. You don’t want to be caught dead in dirty worn out shoes or funny looking shoes.

I won’t say much about a tuxedo, it goes without saying. Just get one! You’ll need it even if once in a while. What you’ll probably have use for often is a dark blue or black jacket which could go for work or a casual evening out.let your creativity work!
Oh yes and my favourite is the wrist watches and they must be huge. You may not necessarily find yourself needing it because your mobiles tell you the time, but it may as well be an accessory.

Add some spice to your jacket with a pocket square in a colour that defines you! Please watch the colour combinations and blocking. less is more.
The khaki chinos, slim fit of course. Don’t laugh yet! You can use them for many occasions with a jacket to make it just a little formal and not too under dressed for that casual but important program. For those men who hate khakis, dark blue jeans will do just fine.
Let me end with a pair of sun glasses which matches your skin and face structure. Be it Ray Bans or the aviator make sure it fits.
Who am I to be telling men what to wear? Ask the men in the Joyfm newsroom.lol
