Finance Minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor is leading a government delegation to attend the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings currently underway in Washington, D.C.
The delegation also includes Central Bank governor, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, Deputy Finance Minister, Fiifi Kwetey, Chief Executive of Fair Wages and Salaries commission, George Smith Graham and other officials from the Finance Ministry, parliament and the Central Bank.
According to a statement from the finance ministry, the delegation will have meetings with the IMF/World Bank board on some economic developments in the country.
The spring meeting brings together thousands of government of officials and other interest groups to deliberate on progress of works at the IMF /World Bank.
