Matthew Amoah's flying start to the new Dutch season continued on Sunday when he struck his second goal in two games in NAC Breda's 3-1 loss at FC Utrecht.
Amoah equalised for Breda on 25 minutes for Breda but they conceded twice again to lose the initiative and remain winless after the opening two games.
For Amoah though it is just the start he needed to force his way into Milovan Rajevac's thinking again just in time for the commencement of the 2012 Nations Cup qualifiers which is barely three weeks away.
Elsewhere in Holland, Eric Addo, discarded by Rajevac ahead of the 2010 World Cup played the full game in Roda JC's 2-1 win over Ado den Hag.
In Portugal, David Addy who has moved from FC Porto to Academica Coimbra on a season long loan in a bid to get more first team football.
And he did get his wish early on Sunday but his debut for Academica in the 2-1 away win over Benfica ended in 50 minutes after he was red-carded.
