Former President John Dramani Mahama in his Easter message has urged Ghanaians to live in unity.
Narrating the passion and death of Christ, Mr Mahama stated forgiveness as the moral lesson.
In a Facebook, the 2020 NDC Presidential Candidate asked the citizenry to emulate the forgiving and merciful spirit of Jesus Christ.
The former President believed that it is through forgiveness that Ghanaians can live in harmony and peace continue reign in the country.
“As we commemorate the crucifixion of our Lord on Good Friday, may we reflect on His gift of sacrifice and embrace his enduring lesson of forgiveness.
“Let us forgive one another and move on in unity,” his statement read.
Mr Mahama together with his wife, Lordina Mahama wished all and sundry “a blessed and most glorious Easter.”
