Former Zambian coach, George Lwandamina, has denied applying for the Hearts of Oak coaching job.
He however admits one of his agents might have submitted his CV without his knowledge.
The former Zesco United manager was linked with the Hearts of Oak coaching position after reports in local media revealed he contacted some Board Members of Hearts of Oak following the departure of Samuel Boadu.
Ahead of the second leg encounter with AS Real Bamako on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, some notable coaches, both in Ghana and abroad, have been linked to the Hearts job.
George Lwandamina is one of them but he denies the reports.
“I have so many agents who do things for me so I am sure maybe, one of them did the submission [of CV]," he said in an interview with LUV FM in Kumasi.
“I haven’t heard it from anyone other than yourself so if that has been done, it could be one of the agents but I have never heard anything from anyone,” he said.
David Ocloo, formerly of Asante Kotoko, has been appointed in the interim to lead the Hearts of Oak team but questions have been asked about his credentials after the Phobians’ 3-0 defeat against Real Bamako in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.
