The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) on Monday said it would begin a four-day tri-service field training exercise dubbed Ex Tiger’s Path 2013 in the Akim Achiase area from July 30 to August 2.A statement signed by Mr E. Assan, Director Public Relations, said the exercise forms part of training activities for 2013/2014 and it will involve sub-units drawn from the Army, Navy and Air Force.It said the exercise is aimed at testing a cross-section of personnel of the Ghana Armed Forces in jungle craft and skills in counter insurgency setting.There would be a mass movement of personnel of the GAF within the general area of Akim Achiase, Akim Oda and Birim South respectively, the statement added.
