Member of Parliament (MP) for Awutu Senya West Constituency, George Andah, has initiated a medical outreach programme which has seen over 5000 people from fifteen communities benefiting.
The programme, which has been running for years, is to ensure that the people from the constituency enjoy quality health care to help them unleash their full potential for development.

At a time where the health of the citizenry was a major cause for concern in the country, residents thought of the initiative as critical to their sustenance.
From dermatological to optometry, dental and general medical checks, constituents were, on Saturday, screened and catered for.

The event also afforded the opportunity for new entrants into the National Health Insurance Scheme and for many to also have their insurance cards renewed.
Addressing the media, George Andah said he was committed to making sure health care in Awutu Senya West was not compromised.
Quoting the Latin saying, ‘Men sena in corpore sano’ to wit, ‘a sound mind in a sound body’, the Deputy Communications Minister assured his due diligence in promoting effective healthcare for his constituents.
