The Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association has denied reports that the technical heads of the various national women teams have been disbanded.
Media reports claimed the Ghana FA after assessing the one year mandate handed the coaches were dissatisfied with their performance.
Out of three national women's teams only the Black Maidens scored full marks by winning bronze at the 2012 FIFA World Cup in Azerbaijan.
The Black Princesses team failed to progress from the Group stage at the 2012 World Cup and the Black Queens were eliminated from the qualifiers to the African Women Championship.
Akenteng in an interview with Joy Sports stated that, no decision has been taken on the future of the various coaches and their backroom staffs.
"The mandate given the coaches was one year so within that time the Ghana FA must sit down and assess the coaches, its after the assessment that we will take a decision but for now we have not taken any decision on any coach," said Akenteng.
