As the Ghana Football Association elections get closer, the focus has been on the main presidential candidates.
However, grassroots football is controlled at the regional level, which is why on Wednesday morning, a debate was organised for candidates vying to lead the Greater Accra Football Association.
The Greater Accra Regional Football FA (GARFA) decided to parade candidates to face delegates at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The candidates present were: Dr Albert Arthur, Reverend Emmanuel Ankama and Eugene Jacquaye.
After presenting their plans for the region, there was a chance for delegates in the packed media centre of the stadium to ask questions.
The debate was organised by Football Enquiry Network, a sports consultancy firm, led by its CEO, Nana Boateng.
