Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited (GGBL) Ghana’s leading beverage business and a Diageo company is pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Amerley Opoku-Agyemang as Controls, Compliance & Ethics (CC&E) Director.
She was previously Head of CC&E at GGBL.
Mrs. Opoku-Agyemang, is a Risk Management & Compliance expert having led the establishement of robust risk management and compliance programmes in the telecoms sector.
She joined Guinness Ghana Breweries Limited in September 2015, from Vodafone Ghana and previously MTN Ghana, where she worked in various areas of Risk Management & Compliance, including Business Continuity, Credit Risk, Due Diligence and Crisis Management.
Her earlier career years were spent in the Re-insurance industry underwriting risks and auditing portfolios across European & Asian markets. She is a Chartered Insurer from the London Insurance Institute.

Helen Amerley Opoku-Agyemang is an alumna of Durham University Business School where she earned her MBA, and of Wesley Girls’ High School, Ghana.
