The Ghana Airports Company has initiated plans to alter its revenue making stream.
The company has over the years generated about 70% of its revenue from its activities directly related to flight but now plans of a paradigm shift.
Managing Director, Doreen Owusu-Fianko has been speaking to Joy Business about plans to grow the airports landside commercial operations for more revenue.“Lots of work is currently ongoing with the expansion works and we are
changing a lot of things. If we work on this multi-storey car park which can take about 2,000 vehicles, that’s going to bring us a lot of revenue. If we get into partnership with all these projects like hotels, executive offices and shopping malls, that’s going to rake in some more income too” she said.
