New Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah has met officials of Unibank, official bank sponsor of the Black Stars at their office in Accra on Tuesday.
The meeting is to establish a new bond between the FA and Unibank who are official sponsors of the Stars.
This is the first time the 56-year old is officially meeting top officials of the bank since his reappointment as coach of the team.
Appiah who was accompanied by CEO of Primeval Consult Larry Opare Otoo in a brief statement thanked the bank for their continuous support to the Black Stars.
"Unibank has been my bank since i became coach of the national team and i know i always have your support and thanks for everything," he said.
Chief Executive Officer of Unibank Felix Nyarko-Pong welcomed coach Appiah and promised him their continuous support.
"We will not take a bet on you because we are on the same side and we know that with the continuation of our package and support the new Black Stars as will come under you may miraculously sail through to the next world cup and also come home in the tournament with the cup," he said .

"And what better moment it will be for us to have our own man in you to bring laurels to us."
He added that "At Unibank as you know we are a local bank and we call ourselves a local bank because our ownership and management and all are Ghanaians and we believe strongly in the capabilities of the Ghanaian and our abilities to rise to the challenge in all spheres of endeavours and with that in mind our support is assured and i am sure in the coming days we will call you here again to say that we have appointed you as our new ambassador of the Bank."
