President John Mahama has given the strongest assurance yet that Ghana will remain peaceful after the Supreme Court judgment Thursday.
The President is optimistic nothing will be done to disturb the country’s matured democracy.
President Mahama was speaking at the Flagstaff House during a farewell ceremony for outgoing Canadian High Commissioner to Ghana Trudy Kenigham.
Also at the Flagstaff House today were four new ambassador who were there to present their credentials to the President.
They are from the Philippines, North Korea, Gabon and Kuwait.
President Mahama’s discussions with them centered on how their respective countries can collaborate with Ghana to promote trade and investment especially in the oil and Gas sector.
He also appealed to Kuwait to join forces with Ghana and other African countries to help restore peace in Egypt.
