Acclaimed Ghanaian dancer Incredible Zigi is preparing for a much-anticipated return to Russia this September since his last visit in 2018.
The tour comes in response to growing demand from Russian fans eager to experience Incredible Zigi's unique blend of Afrobeats and Azonto dance.
Renowned as one of the most sought-after Afro dancers globally, Zigi has built a reputation for authentically translating African dance culture to international audiences. His dance style, rooted in the vibrant street culture of Ghana, has garnered him recognition as a generational changemaker on the continent's dance scene.
The upcoming Russian tour adds to Incredible Zigi's impressive list of international performances, which includes previous engagements in China. He has also toured South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Rwanda. These tours have consistently showcased his ability to bring Afrobeats dance to a global stage.
Co-organiser Sista Akos expressed excitement about the tour, stating, "We've been waiting 6 years for him! Shark, Lion and King of all times and nations. Incredible Zigi is coming to us all the way from Ghana to teach Azonto and Afro Fusion workshops!"
The tour, presented by Sista Akos Music, Lacabana Africa (a Pan-African Dance & Night Club in Moscow), and Benny Blaqk, will feature workshops in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Fans can look forward to learning Azonto and Afro Fusion dance styles directly from the master himself.
This tour promises to match the anticipation and reignite the Afro-culture scene in Russia, offering dance enthusiasts a unique opportunity to experience the infectious energy and skill of one of Africa's premier dance artists.
