Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Gyasi was on target for Empoli as they recorded an away win over Fiorentina on Monday night.
The 29-year-old joined the club during the summer transfer window and started from the bench once again on Monday as they went away against Fiorentina in the Serie A.
Gyasi scored just three minutes after his introduction into the game to double the lead for Empoli and wrap up the victory.
Francesco Caputo gave Empoli the lead in the first half of the game after combining with Alberto Grassi in the 21st minute of the game.
Gyasi's goal was his first for the club since his arrival from Spezia having already played five games until Monday's appearance.
The Ghanaian has started just two games for the club in the league so far this season and will be hoping his goal could see him get more opportunities in subsequent games.
