Ghanaian youngster Nana-Kofi Donkor has completed a permanent transfer to Swedish giants AIK after the club reached an agreement with Georgian side FC Dila Gori.

The 19-year-old winger has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the Allsvenskan club until December 2030, marking another significant milestone in his burgeoning career.

Donkor joins AIK following an impressive breakthrough campaign in Georgia, where he spent last season on loan at Dinamo Tbilisi from FC Dila Gori.

The talented attacker enjoyed a productive spell with the Georgian giants, scoring four goals and providing one assist in 15 appearances, while earning plaudits for his direct running, pace and ability to beat defenders in one-on-one situations.

His performances attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, but AIK moved swiftly to secure his signature after agreeing a deal with FC Dila Gori.

The Swedish club announced the signing on Thursday, confirming that Donkor had joined with immediate effect on a contract running until the end of 2030.

The move represents another step forward for one of Ghana's promising young talents, with AIK viewing the winger as an investment for the future.

Donkor will now look to establish himself in the Allsvenskan, a league that has served as a springboard for several Ghanaian players before moving on to Europe's top competitions.

His arrival also strengthens AIK's attacking options as the Stockholm-based club continues its push in the Swedish top flight.
