Ghana youth international Nathaniel Adjei has signed for French side FC Lorient on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old signs a short-term deal with the Ligue 1 side which will see him play in the French top flight until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The centre-back joins the French side from Swedish outfit Hammarby where he enjoyed a brilliant campaign during the 2023 season.
Adjei scored one goal in 16 starts for Hammarby in the Swedish league as his side finished sixth on the league table.
The youngster will be hoping his short stay with the club could convince them to seal a permanent move at the end of the campaign.
The defender made his debut over the weekend as Lorient played out a 3-3 draw with Le Havre with Andre Ayew coming off the bench to score a brace.
