Social media has been engulfed in sadness as Ghana’s entertainment community mourns the passing of Kumawood comic actor Bright Owusu, popularly known as C Confion.
The management of Akabenezer Production confirmed the actor’s death in the early hours of Friday, December 20.
C Confion had been receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi when he succumbed to his illness.
An associate of popular YouTube content creator Akabenezer (Dr. Likee), C Confion rose to fame through his exceptional comedic performances that endeared him to audiences across the country.
News of his passing has sparked an outpouring of grief and condolences on social media platforms, particularly on X (formerly Twitter).
Fans and colleagues have been sharing heartfelt tributes, old videos, and skits featuring the late actor, celebrating his immense talent and the joy he brought to countless viewers.
