Ghana's biggest private mortuary, The Community Hospital Mortuary and Funeral Home, has been inaugurated at Akim Oda in the Birim Central District of the Eastern Region.
The 600-body facility which is located at Oda-Nkwanta, serves as one-stop-shop for all funeral activities. It also has a conference room and a beautiful landscape where families of bereaved persons can hold funerals.
The ultra modern facility has a mini-church, consortium of professional undertakers and funeral directors, who provide services to give befitting burial to the departed.

Speaking at the ceremony to inaugurate the facility, Mr. Abraham Dwumah Odoom, former Deputy Minister of Health in the John Agyekum Kufuor administration, urged Ghanaians to put aside their political affiliations and work hard to bring total development to the country.
Mr. Dwumah Odoom stressed, no single political party can develop the country and therefore it is in our own interest that we remain in unity and make the country better for us and the future generation.
