The Ghana Digital Innovation Week (GDIW) is a national gathering of players and stakeholders in the Digital Ecosystem with a view to discuss progress, status, showcase and celebrate milestones.
GDIW provides a platform for various actors to learn, share ideas and create connections to enhance the progress of the landscape.
The week is created and owned by actors from the private sectors, academia, policymakers, Development Partners and Civil Society Organizations and supported by The Digital Transformation Centre, an initiative by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The event is additionally held in collaboration with MASHAV, Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation through the Embassy of Israel in Ghana, The Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, and the Ministry of Communication and Digitalization.
The first edition of GDIW came off last year and was hugely successful. GDIW returns this year with a three-day event to showcase the Nation's growing digital ecosystem — it is slated for 26th to 28th October at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Center.
