Launching of satellite into space has for years been the preserve of advanced countries like the United States and Russia.This is because such projects are depressingly capital intensive and highly risky. However, here in Ghana a local university is set to defy the odds as it prepares to launch an earth observation satellite.Scientists at the Intelligence Space Systems Laboratory at the All Nations University in Koforidua are working on the GHSAT which will help Ghana track oil spillages and ensure surveillance of our borders.Fiifi Koomson has the rest of the story in the attached report.
