FC Toronto II midfielder Gideon Waja has signed a club shirt for the Canadian High Commission in Ghana to be auctioned for charity.
Waja visited High Commissioner Heather Cameron in Accra on Friday, 28 December to share his first-year experience in Maple Leaf country as a professional.
The former WAFA captain was advised to live an exemplary life both on and off the pitch to achieve his career goals.

Waja expressed gratitude to Her Excellency Cameron for the words of encouragement and motivation.
''I really thank the High Commissioner for his reception and advice. It was my first time and I was shy so didn't talk much. She talked me like a son and I loved it,'' the 2017 WAFU Cup of Nations winner told Joy Sports.
''I had to sign a jersey for them and it will be auctioned and the proceeds going to the school of the blind in the Northern Region.
''Once again I thank her for the words of advice.''
Waja played in the USL last season with the second side of FC Toronto but will feature in the maiden edition of the Canadian Premier League which starts next March.
