Leadership activist and student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, Kabu Nartey, has emerged winner of the Personal Development and Academia category in the 50 Most influential Young Ghanaians honorary scheme.
Mr Nartey was the youngest in his category battle with four others in the category.
The award scheme which is organized by a Public Relations and ranking firm, Avance Media is an annual scheme which grades and honours young Ghanaians in various fields and industry.
This adds up to a couple of awards received by the student activist, most recent of them being the GIJ 30 under 60 awards in 2019.
The Kufour Scholars fellow was one of the over 1000 contenders whose background was thoroughly investigated after which a few were shortlisted for the next stage.
The qualified were presented to the public to be voted for after which the 5 with the highest votes are selected.
At the end of the voting stage, Kabu was adjudged winner and 14th on the final list of 50 winners.

Singer, Kofi Kinaata topped the list as overall most influential young Ghanaian.
Other category winners include NDC, Sammy Gyamfi (Law and Governance), Thomas Partey (Sports), Kwadwo Sheldon (Social Media Influencer) and a host of others.
The winners will take part in the Avance Africa Dialogue where they will share insights and their success stories.
