The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), through its Ghana-European Centre for Jobs, Migration and Development, has expressed deep appreciation to the Africa Center for Digital Transformation (ACDT) for its outstanding role in facilitating digital training sessions during its recent roadshows in Tamale and Kumasi.
The roadshows, hosted in collaboration with local partners HopIn in Tamale and Dipper Lab at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, were designed as part of the nationwide sensitization efforts ahead of the upcoming Ghana Migration and Career Fair 2025 scheduled for September 17 in Accra.
ACDT played a pivotal role by delivering specialized training in cybersecurity, Notion AI, and Canva for productivity, equipping participants, particularly students, job seekers, and young entrepreneurs, with practical skills to improve their digital readiness and employability.

The sessions drew strong engagement and highlighted the importance of integrating digital tools into education, work, and entrepreneurship.
In a statement, GIZ described ACDT as a “strategic partner whose expertise and innovative facilitation methods ensured that participants not only learned but also gained hands-on experience with tools that are crucial in today’s rapidly evolving digital economy.”
The Executive Director of ACDT, Kwesi Atuahene, reaffirmed the Center’s commitment to empowering African youth through transformative digital skills training.

“Our partnership with GIZ demonstrates how collaboration can bridge gaps in digital literacy, enhance employability, and open new opportunities for young people across Ghana,” he noted.
With the successful completion of the Tamale and Kumasi editions, GIZ and ACDT look forward to further collaborations that will continue to amplify the impact of digital skills training in Ghana and beyond.
The Ghana Migration and Career Fair 2025 will bring together policymakers, employers, training institutions, and young talents under one roof to discuss opportunities in jobs, skills development, and migration pathways.
