The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) has extended the deadline for filing of nominations for the 24th GJA Media Awards from Friday, July 26, 2019 to Friday, August 9, 2019.
The opening of the 24th GJA Media Awards was officially announced by the President of the GJA at the launch of the Association’s 70th Anniversary on May 28, 2019.
It is the highlight of the GJA 70th Anniversary, which is scheduled for Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast.
The awards are open to GJA members working in the Ghanaian media establishments and cover broadcast or published works from January 1, 2018, to December 31, 2018.
Awards will be given in the following categories:
