GOIL PLC has donated food items to the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, towards the celebration of Eid UI- Fitr.
The items included 20 bags of rice, 15 gallons of oil, 15 cartons of tin tomatoes, 20 cartons of assorted drinks, 40 parks of bottled water and 50 bags of sachet water.

Senior Corporate Affairs Executive, Jamilatu Mohammed, presented the items on behalf of GOIL which were received by Alhaji Latif, PRO of the National Chief Imam in the presence of the National Chief Imam himself; the spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Armiyawo Shaibu and other officials from the office of the National Chief Imam.
Jamilatu Mohammed conveyed GOIL’s goodwill message from the Group CEO and MD of GOIL, Kwame Osei Prempeh to the National Chief Imam and the Muslim community wishing them well during the 30-day fasting.

GOIL, she noted, recognised the contribution of the Muslim community towards the country’s development and solidarised with them during their 30-day spiritual journey. The donation, she stressed, was therefore the company’s support towards a good cause.
The National Chief Imam expressed his gratitude to GOIL for the continued donation spanning the last decade. The items, he said, would contribute a great deal to help the needy and the deprived break their fast. He prayed for the continued success of GOIL and all its employees.
