The crash, which claimed the lives of eight national officials, including Defence Minister Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Environment Minister Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, occurred when a Ghana Air Force Harbin Z-9 helicopter crashed into a mountainside in the Ashanti region of Ghana.

The victims were on a national assignment to attend an event about fighting illegal mining at the Obuasi Black Park when their helicopter went off the radar.
In the condolence message, Golden Royal Technologies expressed its solidarity, stating that the company's thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the loss.

The CEO particularly extended his personal condolences, reinforcing the company's empathy for the national tragedy.
The government declared three days of national mourning following the incident, which has been described as a national tragedy.
