Asante Kotoko coach Michael Osei is delighted with his side’s response in their matchday 15 victory over Techiman City.
The Porcupine Warriors were looking to get an immediate response following their midweek defeat to Wa All Stars and were up 2-0 by halftime.
They scored two more goals in the second half and for Michael Osei, his boys deserved all the credit.
“It was very important three points and I think the players did very well because they were determined to win this game at all cost and I liked the way we have ended the first round.”
Dauda who got a hat trick in the game, also spoke about his happiness and the progression of the team.
“The game was very difficult but we managed to get all three points. For now we are feeling very confident as a team.”
“For now am the leading striker and the top scorer for the team so am very happy for my form now.”
Their win against Techiman City moves Kotoko to third on the league log with 26 points.
