The second round of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season gets underway on Friday. February 25, after a week break.
The league took a break last weekend after the first round of games were played, with Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak using their break period to play the matchday seven outstanding clash.
Upon the league's resumption, WAFA will host King Faisal in Sogape on Friday to kickstart this weekend's games.
On Saturday, Aduana Stars will also battle Karela United for all three points at the Nana Agyeman Badu I stadium.
Kotoko will welcome Dreams FC to the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday while AshantiGold come up against Eleven Wonders at home.
Bibiani Gold Stars will take a trip to Berekum, where they face Berekum Chelsea with Elmina Sharks also playing host to Accra Lions.
Medeama have a home game against second-placed Bechem United up next and Accra Great Olymics' game against Real Tamale United will bring an end to the first round of fixtures in the second half of the season.
With 17 games played, the Porcupine Warriors occupy the top spot on the league table with 37 points while Bechem are second, seven points behind the league leaders.
The relegation zone at the moment has WAFA (16th), Eleven Wonders (17th) and Sharks (18th).
