With the headline game of matchday 7 between Hearts of Oak and Kotoko postponed, King Faisal grabbed the headlines after climbing to the top of the Ghana Premier League table.

Legon Cities were held to a goalless draw at the El-Wak Stadium against Berekum Chelsea while WAFA suffered a home defeat in their encounter with AshantiGold.
Patrick Kofi Ansu got the match decider when Medeama faced Real Tamale United in Tamale.
As things stand, King Faisal occupy the top position in the standings with 16 points, two more than Aduana who sit in second, while Kotoko, with a game in hand are in third position with 13 points.
