The President of the Legon Chapter of the Graduate Students Association of Ghana (GRASAG), Peter Mensah, has cut sod for the commencement of the Summer Hut Project at Atomic Campus.
Accompanied by a delegation of the GRASAG Executive Council, Mr Mensah held the groundbreaking ceremony at the Atomic Campus on Friday, July 31, 2023.

This initiative, according to the president, reflects the utmost commitment to inclusivity on all satellite campuses of the association.
While delivering a speech at the event, he said, "GRASAG-UG remains committed to its vision of promoting excellence in graduate studies, and the Summer Hut Project at Atomic Campus is a testament to the Association's dedication to nurturing an inclusive and thriving educational system."

In his remarks, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders involved in driving the initiative forward, saying their collective efforts have been instrumental in propelling this endeavour from conception to reality.

This approach comes after the 2023 GRASAG-Legon week celebration, which began from Friday, July 14, to Sunday, July 22.
The event also witnessed the presence of Senior Management from the Atomic Campus of the University, who demonstrated their unwavering support for this visionary project.

The GRASAG-Legon Summer Hut Project seeks to create a dynamic and welcoming environment for students of the Atomic Campus, providing a conducive space for academic and social engagements.
