Armed robbers have allegedly shot a driver of a Nissan Urvan bus on the Juapong- Nnudu highway in the Volta Region Sunday dawn.The robbers were said to have dressed in police uniform. A passenger of the bus told Joy News the driver was suspicious of the men in uniform and decided to make a quick turn.The driver was shot in the hand in the process, the passenger said, adding another passenger in the vehicle had to take over the steering wheel and drive to nearby barrier.Meanwhile police in the area have confirmed the incident and are conducting their own investigations.
