Ghana's competitive hospitality industry has been given a boost with the start of the ultramodern Tulip Inn Hotel, which poised to provide first class service to clients.
Formerly known as the Travel Xpress International Hotel, Tulip Inn Accra Hotel is located at 4 Centenary Close, off Adamafio Crescent, South Legon opposite Gulf House and adjacent the Royal Bank Head Office.
Despite its private ownership, the new hotel is mentored by the Golden Tulip West Africa, the globally acclaimed brand which owns leading hotels across the sub-region, including the Golden Tulip Accra and the Golden Tulip Kumasi City.
At its opening on Saturday, March 8, 2014, the General Manager of Tulip Inn, Amr Haroun, was confident the new facility would pursue same standards as other subsidiaries of Golden Tulip West Africa.
He explained that the new facility is inspired by the slogan of Golden Tulip Group which is “International standards, local flavours.”
“We will focus on delivering quality service which will be unmatched by other players in the industry” he added.
In an address, a representative of the Golden Tulip West Africa, Oladimeji Odusote, who was a special guest at the event disclosed, “we as a group endorse the new Tulip Inn as part of us.”
“We have met the owner and he understands our mandate and values, so everyone should be rest assured that they will deliver nothing but the best,” Anchorhe said.
The owner, Mr. Joe Ofori, expressed gratitude over the partnership with the Golden Tulip Group, noting that its experience and leadership in the hospitality industry would propel Tulip Inn to greater heights.
“I am quite delighted to be mentored by an industry giant as the Golden Tulip Group,” he said.
“They are very experienced and we will be guided by their core values so that we can also contribute positively to the hospitality industry, just as all Golden Tulip subsidiaries have been doing”, he added.
Ms. Jane Gyimah-Amoako, Sales and Marketing Manager of the newly opened Tulip Inn was on hand with her Sales team to usher clients into the new Facility.
She emphasized that the Tulip Inn Hotel is poised on delivering personalized and excellent customer services at world class affordability to all clients.
Other dignitaries who graced the opening event included Mr. Sam Aduama, General Manager, Golden Tulip Kumasi City; Mr. Francis Deyegbe, General Manager, Golden Tulip Accra; Mrs. Bertha de Graft-Johnson, Sales and Marketing Manager, Golden Tulip Accra.
