QNET, a leading global lifestyle and wellness-focused direct selling company, has disassociated itself from the case involving 11 Nigerians.
According to the Sampa Sector Command of the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) in the Bono Region, these 11 Nigerians were allegedly rescued from human trafficking agents on the Ghana-Ivory Coast border in the Jaman North District.
They are said to be victims of “Q-Net,” a popular fraudulent online scheme, which allegedly lures and defraud people of huge sums of money under the pretext of securing them jobs abroad.
But in a statement sighted by Myjoyonline.com, QNET said it was "deeply concerned about unscrupulous individuals misusing our name to carry out illegal activities such as offering fake jobs, overseas travel, immigration opportunities and the like."

According to the company, it is not involved in "any such activities and emphatically disavows any association with these individuals who have been apprehended."

QNET has been made aware of some online news publications falsely suggesting that QNET is linked to the case of 11 Nigerians allegedly involved in human trafficking and fraud. These are false and baseless allegations, and we strongly denounce any association with such activities.
While we commend the efforts of the Ghana Immigration Service and continue to seek ways to collaborate with the Service and other government and regulatory agencies, we take this opportunity to clarify our stand and explain actions we are taking to fight the misrepresentation.
QNET, is a wellness and lifestyle products focused direct selling company that has grown into an international brand over the last 25 years. We sell our products and services to customers around the world through our e-commerce portal. Many customers choose to become distributors of our products by registering as independent representatives and earning commissions on the products they sell.
We are deeply concerned about unscrupulous individuals misusing our name to carry out illegal activities such as offering fake jobs, overseas travel, immigration opportunities and the like. QNET is not involved in any such activities and emphatically disavows any association with these individuals who have been apprehended.
We take allegations of illegal immigration and fraud very seriously and pledge our full corporation to law enforcement authorities should they require our support to apprehend these wrongdoers. Our unwavering commitment is to maintain the highest ethical standards, consistent with our overarching mission of empowering individuals through genuine, entrepreneurial prospects, fueled by top tier products.
This year alone, QNET has facilitated the filing of criminal actions against more than 50 individuals in four different countries in the Sub-Saharan Africa region including Ghana, for misusing the QNET name to commit fraud.
The company enforces strict policies and procedures to safeguard customers from any unlawful or fraudulent conduct. Regrettably, there have been instances when certain individuals, either affiliated with or unrelated to the company, engaged in unethical behaviour, tarnishing the company's reputation. These isolated cases include unauthorized attempts by non-affiliated individuals to deceive others using QNET’s name.
QNET has taken some significant steps in a bid to clear the increased misinformation about the company, its business model and the direct-selling industry in general in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
To reinforce this commitment, QNET has launched a WhatsApp Compliance Hotline (+233256630005) which has been operational since 1 September 2023. The public can report any suspicious individuals who are misusing the QNET name for unethical activities directly to this hotline which serves our customers in the Sub-Saharan Africa markets, including Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Cameroon, Mali, Guinea, Benin, Togo, and others in French and English languages.
