Incumbent Member of Parliament for Salaga, Alhaji Boniface Saddique says he is not losing his seat, despite media reports that he was doing so.
He told Joy FM’s Election Headquarters he has won 13 out of the 16 polling stations declared so far and has taken a commanding lead within the Konkomba polling station.
With a total number of 106 polling stations in the constituency, it is early days yet which of the candidates would emerge victors.
But the Works and Housing Minister has dared “let’s wait and see if I am losing my seat.”
He has Ibrahim Bey Abubakari of the NDC, making a strong claim for the seat, as well as Fuseini Abubakari of the PNC.
Polling station results are being collated for the constituency results.
