It is an experience and an event. That’s how Bola Ray and his posse at Empire Entertainment are describing the The Ten Ten Ten Party they are organising at the La Beach in Accra Sunday, October 10.
The catchy thing about the affair is that the number 10 runs through the whole programme. It is happening from 10.00am to 10.0Opm on the 10th day in the 10th month of the year 2010.
There will also be 10 of everything scheduled for the party: 10 disc jockeys, 10 masters of ceremony, 10 mainstream artistes, 10 dance performances, 10 unsigned artistes and 10 rounds of fireworks.
According to Kevin Adisi, Head of Creative and Innovations at Empire Entertainment, the idea for the party arose out of his outfit's desire to give entertainment buffs something out of the ordinary.
"We wanted something that people would not just witness and forget moments later," Kevin said. "We thought hard and we believe we have come up with something that will linger on people’s memories for a long time."
Performers lined up for the Ten Ten Ten Party include Ruff & Smooth, Guru and Reggie Zippy. Disc jockeys Black, Nii Ayi and Mensah will be there and Bola Ray is definitely one of the masters of ceremony.
Empire Entertainment says there will be sales stands for a variety of items the programme is ideal for corporate entities to showcase their services.
"We are targeting all people who love to party and want to get going on a high note this month. It would be a wonderful atmosphere for people to get together and make new friends," Kevin added.
