American rapper Jim Jones was styled like a Ghanaian royal for his appearance in the official music video of "Drip Remix," a song by Ghanaian musician Bashir Annan, known as Gambo.
His demeanor, the 'subjects' at his feet and standing around him, his Kente wear accessorized with beads, and his crown all contributed to his noble 'royal status.'
In the video shot in the USA, Jim Jones is dressed like a Ghanaian king, alongside rappers Gambo, Ayigbe Edem, and several women dressed in Ghanaian costumes, promoting Ghanaian culture internationally.
The "Drip" Remix is one of the tunes on Gambo’s latest extended play (EP) titled "1 More Bullet," a project celebrating hip-hop.
Featured on the EP are Ghanaian music duo E.L. and Kofi Jamar. E.L. features on a song called "Enjoyment," while Kofi Jamar showcases his music prowess on "Conversation."
Jim Jones not only contributed to "Drip Remix" lyrically but also his dress style was perfect for marketing brand Ghana in America and beyond.
