As Joy FM’s Showbiz News Flash returns on November 4, 2024, listeners should look forward to one of the velvety voices on radio, as the anchor.
The 60-second bulletin, will be presented by broadcaster Kofi Hayford.
The presenter has been associated with the popular news flash since its inception in 2022, and is expected to maintain his high level entertaining presentation style on Showbiz News Flash.

Kofi Hayford is well-known for reporting credible news and facts within the entertainment industry in Ghana and beyond, and has featured some top stories on Showbiz News Flash in the past. His reportages have often cut across music, movies, literature, television, radio, Ghanaian culture, amongst others.
Showbiz News Flash will feature at least three stories in each bulletin each weekday; 10:05am, 2:05pm and 4:10pm, with a recap of all stories at 8:05pm, all powered by Joy Entertainment.
Kofi Hayford is also the host of Joy FM’s evening drive show, The Overdrive, from Mondays to Wednesdays, 8pm to 10pm. He doubles as the official sit-in host for the station’s Drive Time show, as well as the host for the popular Weekend City Show every Saturday morning from 7:45 am to 9am.

Since joining the Multimedia Group Limited in 2020, Kofi Hayford has exhibited his passion and versatility on countless occasions, including TV assignments; hosting the all-male talk show, The BMPS Show on Joy Prime every Thursday at 9pm.
He is also the voice behind quite a number of in-house radio and TV commercials and jingles on both Joy FM and Joy Prime.
