Rose Abaya, a newlywed bride, celebrated her wedding on January 11, 2025, which was a success, as she rocked a gown designed by Peace Bridals free of charge.
The two partners had been in courtship for twelve years. Their love journey is one worth celebrating as it began in Senior High School when they were desk mates in the same class and finally tied the knot.
Her story was highlighted on Joy Prime’s afternoon show, Changes. The producers promised a free wedding gown giveaway to an engaged couple preparing for their marriage and she was fortunate to be selected from the numerous entries that were received.
Following the airing of the episode featuring Peace Bridals' Chief Executive Officer, Peace Afi Dogbatsey, Rose Abaya was honored with a gown to help support her and reduce her expenses.
Prior to the wedding, Rose Abaya, who spoke on the show, expressed her appreciation to Joy Prime for the recognition, revealing that it had been one of her major prayer topics.
“In her response to the host’s question of whether she prayed to God for a free gown, Rose said, “Yes, I did.” She excitedly added, “It means a lot to me, and I’m so grateful.”
On Saturday, January 11, 2025, Rose Abaya wore the gifted gown and walked down the aisle with her beloved groom in a colorful event, beaming with smiles and joy. Family and friends were thrilled to see how stunning their daughter looked in the gown.
Currently, Mrs. Akrobettoe, as she is now known, is happily united in holy matrimony with Okut Akrobettoe. They are forever grateful to Joy Prime and Peace Bridals for their generosity, which contributed to the success of their special day, and will be a part of the love story they will share with their children.

The producers of the show extend their deepest gratitude to Peace Bridals for partnering with the team to help achieve one of the channel’s missions, putting smiles on the couple’s faces.
Meanwhile, the Changes show returns on Joy Prime this Wednesday and Friday, January 15 and 17 respectively. Stay glued for more exciting episodes and enjoy educative, lifestyle, and entertainment-related issues with Roselyn Felli.
