Joy Sports George Addo Jnr. picked a special award for innovation and commitment for the 2013/2014 First Capital Plus Ghana Premier league.
The award from the headline sponsor of the League was presented at the Ghana Premier League awards ceremony to the young and enterprising Addo in recognition of his dynamism in hosting the First Capital Plus Premier League show (FCPPL) on the JOY sports Channel on MultiTV, which comes off every Wednesdays at 7pm when the league is session.
The JOY Sports awardee received his plague on the night presented to him by the Marketing and Corporate affairs of the company, Nana Yaw Kesse congratulated George for his ingenuity and also the entire Joy Sports team.

According to the young broadcast journalist this feat is dedicated to the entire JOY Sports team
"Firstly I say a big thank to God almighty for making this possible, we have a fantastic team at JOY Sports whose ideas resulted in the creation of the only TV show for the First Capital Premier League.

League Sponsors First Capital Plus Bank on their part expressed their willingness to continue celebrating Journalists who go out of their way to promote the Ghana premier league and announced several innovations including electronic ticketing for the upcoming season.
Another award winner Richmond Opoku Afriyie picked the Akan version of the award on the night for radio.
The First Capital Plus Premier league show on Joy Sports is a one hour Television show that reviews the weekend's league action, discusses matters arising in the week, distinct features on players and coaches, with super viewer inclusion.
The second season of the show will commence weeks before the start of the 2014/2015 Ghana Premier league season.
