ARB Apex Bank Limited's Employee Relations Manager, Patrick Mensah is pledging “something massive” from his team at next year’s JoySports Invitational Tournament.
The debutant stormed into this year’s edition, which was organized by JoySports with support from sponsors including the Minerals Commission, McDan Group, The Luckiest, Skechers, Emigoh Ghana, Peeva Beverages, and Caveman Watches, and walked home with five medals at the University of Ghana Stadium.
ARB Apex Bank Limited finished second overall in a tournament that featured 29 participants and are hopeful for an even better performance in 2025.
“As first timers at the tournament, our performance was overwhelming,” Patrick said in an interview with JoySports.
“We actually prepared very much. Next year, we are coming on board again but we are not coming as we came this year, we are coming with the 147 rural banks behind us.”
“Expect something massive from us and the eight million customers. You have to look for extra stadiums to contain us because we are coming massively next year and we are going to win.”
Around 15 exciting events were held at the tournament, including football, CEOs' and ladies' penalty shootouts, women’s 50m dash, men’s 100m, and tug of peace.
The next edition promises to be even bigger and better.
