The Kenya Football Federation has confirmed it has sealed a friendly match between its national team and the Black Stars in June before the double-header 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The test match will be played on June 1 in Nairobi where the Black Stars will be camped for two weeks.
"We have received a communication from the Ghana FA indicating that the Black Stars will camp here ahead of their world cup qualifier," said John Kariuk who is the communications director of the Kenya Football Federation
"The Ghana FA then requested to play our national team during their stay here and we responded positively to that so there will be a friendly in June,
"We also have Nigeria to play in that same month in the World Cup qualifier so playing the Black Stars will hand us the needed test ahead of that game."
The Black Stars will play Sudan in Khartoum and Lesotho while Kenya host Nigeria and travel to Malawi in June.
