Former First Lady Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings has offered to give hope and expectation to her well wishers as the year draws to a close.
In a Christmas message on social networking site Facebook, the former First Lady gave the biggest indication yet that she may be considering proposals to contest the highest office of the land.
There have been several calls by NDC supporters for the former first lady to run for president but Mrs Rawlings has not formally confirmed or denied that she is interested in contesting the slot.
In her Christmas message, she urged Ghanaians to reflect on the past year soberly.
“This message is to all those who have been coming on facebook to wish me a merry Christmas and a reflective new year.
“…Reflecting because we’ve got to have hope, and I hope this Christmas into the New Year we will be able to give some level of hope and expectations to all those who believe in me and want for the best for themselves.
“Happy and reflective New Year,” she said.
