Mr. Daniel Bugri Naabu, President of the Konkomba Development Association, at the weekend lauded the flag-bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP’s), decision to selecti Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia as his running mate.
He said Dr Mahamadu Bawumia is a true son of the North in particular and Ghana as a whole, hence the excitement of members of the association for the decision of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, to make him his running mate for the crucial General Election.
Mr Bugri Naabu, who is also an opinion leader in the North was speaking to journalists in Accra.
He said: “Wherever Konkombas are; whether in Brong Ahafo, Eastern or Ashanti regions, majority of them would respect the decision of the flag-bearer, the National Executive Council and Council of Elders of the party for nominating Dr. Bawumia.”
“Dr Bawumia is a popular choice and his nomination will propel NPP to victory,” he said.
