The Management of the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital in Accra has instituted a 15-member ethics committee to deal with concerns of patients of the hospital.
The committee is tasked with instilling professionalism in the hospital’s operations.
Joy News reporter Hanna Odame who was present at the induction ceremony said the committee will address complaints by patients and users of the facility.
The hospital administration noted there is limited platform for concerns of patients to be addressed as and when they arise and hoped the new committee will serve a very useful purpose.
The committee is made up of workers within and without the hospital.
