The Senior Staff Association of the Korle-Bu Teaching is demanding the resignation of the chief executive Gilbert Buckle.
Members of the Association say the chief executive is repeating the mistakes of his predecessors and must just go.
The group yesterday passed a vote of no confidence in Mr Buckle citing various reasons including the lack of medicines at the hospital’s pharmacy.
The president of the Association Charles Ofei-Palm told Joy News: "Things are not going well in Korle Bu.
"From so many points of view. Shortages all over the places. The irony and sad thing is that we have increased charges fee for almost 300 percent and we ask ourselves where is the money going?
"Why are we not being able to provide supplies? All the equipment have broken down. Things are running out of hand.
"It is better we save the boat from sinking," he said adding the situation is deplorable and must be attended to immediately.
"The sad thing is that we had a change and some of the things we said during the change are being repeated so you ask yourself what is going on?"
Joy News' Hannah Odame who was present at the Hospital reported the management of the hospital as saying they are working on the concerns of the workers.
They will not go public for now but they say the concerns of the workers are being resolved.
